2020 Family Faith Festival: to live a Family day of spiritual activities, prayer, leisure and entertainment with the Family of St. John.

This event is open to families and any other person.

Activities for parents and children, Holy Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Family game, skits, music performances and more !

POTLUCK LUNCH :

Please bring what you have prepared at 8:45 a.m. to the Brothers' refectory where a person will welcome you. After lunch and cleaning-up, don't forget to take back your dishes from the brothers' kitchen or from the table in the refectory. As a precaution, we suggest that you label your dishes with your name.

If you have a special diet, please ensure to bring what you need.

OPTIONAL FAMILY BANNER :

We suggest that you bring a family banner or a "spiritual coat of arms" for the upcoming Family Faith Fest. You could bring a banner made in previous years or make a new one for this year FFF based on the theme: “Let Not Your Hearts Be Troubled” (John 14: 27). For those who are attending for the first time, please copy the link below in your browser: you will find an explanation about how to make a banner. There will be a frame provided for your banner but please ensure you respect the dimensions indicated on the instructions.

You can download the instructions by copying this link in your browser :

OPTIONAL FAMILY PERFORMANCE:

There will be a “Festival of Family Talents” on Sunday afternoon.

We are seeking families who would sing, play music, do a skit, read a poem together, put on some form of dance (Irish dancing for example) or any other performance as a family : this should be less an individual than a family performance.

The entertainment should last no longer than five minutes per family (or ten minutes if it is a skit). After you register and say you are interested, a brother or a sister will contact you about it.

FAMILIES WITH INFANTS UNDER THREE YEARS OF AGE:

For the families with infants under three years of age, a parent (or an older sibling or a friend) would need to remain with her/his child during the morning activities. If your infant is sleeping, you can come to the adult talk or you can stay in the bookstore area in our Conference Center where you can listen to the talk over the loudspeaker. There will also be another area for parents with children.
